QUALITY POLICY
The Quality Control Laboratory of Department of Fisheries, Chattogram for fish and fishery products is committed to implement and maintain ISO/IEC 17025:2017 quality management system for the Microbiological and Chemical analysis in order to ensure accurate, valid and timely provision of test reports that meets and exceeds customer need and expectation through a continually improving service delivery. The laboratory management is also committed to ensure impartiality of its laboratory activities.
The organization’s Quality Policy calls for “Quality first and Do the work on time, Every time.”
In the laboratory, tests are always carried out in accordance with stated standardized methods and according to client’s requirements. Undue requests to perform tests that may jeopardize the actual result or have a low validity are rejected. Excellence in the workplace including customer satisfaction is promoted by providing all employees with the knowledge, training and tools necessary to allow for the completion of accurate and timely work.
To ensure consistent implementation of the system each personnel working in the laboratory has been fully aware of the quality systems operated within the laboratory and therefore committed to provide services in accordance with the international standard. All laboratory personnel endeavor to achieve highest level of customer satisfaction and continual improvement of the services by meeting the requirements of the quality systems as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 both for the technical services & quality management.
